Project Summary

An interactive AR business card prototype designed to explore how augmented reality can enhance personal branding and create dynamic, memorable first impressions. This project allowed me to experiment with AR micro-experiences and the design of visual triggers for real-world interactions.

When QR code is scanned, the AR app is ready to launch.
Scanning the marker launches the Zappar app — initiating the AR experience.
When access to camera is granted, an animated intro video plays and an interactive business card is displayed.
Selecting "Next" on video screen, an interactive view shows up — personalized AR business card with clickable links for portfolio, contact, and more."

What I Learned

This project gave me valuable hands-on experience designing AR micro-interactions with Zapworks Designer. I explored how visual triggers and dynamic content can elevate everyday touchpoints — such as a business card — into more engaging, memorable experiences. It also deepened my understanding of designing for spatial context and user attention in AR environments.

This project sparked new ideas for how AR can enrich small moments of interaction and personal storytelling — lessons I’m carrying forward into future XR experiments.
